Lucas Gleisberg Selected for Nebraska Coaches Association Basketball All-Star Game: Lucas Gleisberg, a senior at Medicine Valley has been selected to play in the Nebraska Coaches Association Basketball All-Star game.  The game will be held on Monday, July 22, at Lincoln NorthStar beginning at 8:00 p.m. and televised by the Nebraska Educational Television network.

Coach Steven Gleisberg commented that Lucas had an outstanding senior year as well as a solid career at Medicine Valley.  “Lucas led class D-2 in scoring and was second in steals for the entire state.  He also finished in the top ten in class D-2 for rebounding, assists, free-throw percentage, and 2 point field goal percentage.  He also had a very productive career here at Medicine Valley, starting for four years and earning RPAC All-Conference all four years is quite an accomplishment.  He holds three school records, and finished runner-up in career scoring, assists, 3 point field goal made, and rebounding, despite  missing 10 games his sophomore season due to an MCL injury.  I’m not sure if any other player from Medicine Valley has made the NCA game, but it is quite an honor, and his mother and dad are proud”.
