Raiders and Tigers compete at RPAC Golf Invite

The Medicine Valley Raiders and Maywood Tiger Golf Teams traveled to Alma last Friday to compete in the Republican  Plains Activity Conference Golf Tournament. The Raiders shot a score of 385 which was good enough to secure them a third place finish at the meet. Maywood did not have a team score as they had only two golfers participate. Alma won the meet shooting 370.

Brendan Johnsen led the Raiders shooting a score of 83. Quinten Chancellor was second best for the team recording a round of 94. Zane Mickelsen and Marcus Florom rounded out the squad shooting scores of 102 and 106 respectively. 

Leading the Tigers was Derrick Langley who shot a score of 107. Katelyn Gerlach also participated shooting a score of 133.

The Raiders and Tigers have two regular scheduled meets in  the coming  week. Thursday they play at Oxford in the Southern Valley Invite and then next Tuesday both teams compete in the Raiders’ Cattle Trail Invite Tournament.
