E-F girls 2nd at CPC, boys finish 5th Jacey Schultheiss sets new school record in 300 meter hurdles

On Monday, April 28th, the Eustis-Farnam squad was in Arnold, for the last CPC track meet. The meet had been postponed from Friday, because of the weather. The girls team finished second in the team standings while the boys finished in fifth place.

Coach Elroy Pierce had six gold medal winners. Jacey Schultheiss) high jump & 300 meter hurdles) and Katie Fagot (3200 meters & 4x800 meter relay) each captured two gold medals . Jacey set a new school record in the 300 meter hurdles with a time of 49.4. The other gold medals winners were Katie Fagot, 3200 meters; Derek Williams, long jump and the girls 4x800 meter relay team (Erin Sheffield, Kaitlyn Young, Stacy Johnson, Katie Fagot).

The Eustis-Farnam boys medalists at the CPC meet were as follows. Discus: 1st Dustin Strasburg AR, 147’3.5’; 4th Jerud Banzhaf EF, 110’5’; 5th Calvin Rupe EF, 107’8.5”. High jump: 1st Jacob Duggan PX, 6’2”; 3rd Derek Williams EF, 5’10”. Long jump: 1st Derek Williams EF, 20’0.25”; 6th Drew Wetovick EF, 18’6.25”. Shot put: 1st Keifer Burke MX, 52’10.5”; 3rd Dylan Koch EF, 44’9”; 4th Jerud Banzhaf EF 43’5.5”; 5th Jerod Strong EF, 42’7”. Triple jump: 1st Derrick Bowers AR, 40’11.75”; 3rd Derek Williams EF, 40’0.25”. 4x800 meter relay: 1st Arnold, 9:02.3; 3rd EF (Carson Bellamy, Jacob Widick, Lucas Glodowski, Djorn Dunlap) 9: 40.3. 100 meters: 1st Jacob Duggan PX, 11.7; 6th Drew Wetovick EF, 12.2. 400 meters: 1st Tanner Barnum ST, 52.1; 5th Ben Kugler EF, 56.0. 200 meters: 1st Thomas Derr AR, 23.8; 5th Ben Kugler EF, 24.8. 800 meters: 1st Tanner Barnum ST, 2:01.5; 5th Djorn Dunlap EF, 2:21.2. 300 meter hurdles: 1st Jon Walz ST, 43.8; 4th Drew Wetovick EF, 46.3. 1600 meters: 1st Tanner Barnum ST, 4:48.3; 6th Djorn Dunlap EF, 5:16.71. 4x100 meter relay: 1st Maxwell 46.0; 4th EF (Dylan Koch, Jerod Strong, Calvin Rupe, Drew Wetovick) 59.4. 4x400 meter relay: 1st Brady, 4:33.6; 3rd EF (Calvin Rupe Jorden Bendler, Ben Kugler, Djorn Dunlap) 4:42.0.
